SmartSens Announces SC233A and SC223A with DSI-2 Imaging Technology
2021-4-2
SmartSens today announced two new CMOS image sensors, the ultra-low light capable SC233A and SC223A. These two sensors are the first in SmartSens’ portfolio to include the second generation of proprietary DSI Imaging Technology, targeting a variety of devices such as surveillance cameras, vehicle cameras and home IP cameras.

Compared to the preceding generation’s products, the DSI-2 sensors improve in sensitivity and chroma by 15% and 20% separately. Through the use of PixGain Technology, the full well capacity has more than doubled with enhanced MaxSNR and HDR efficiency. Together, these attributes produce high-quality imaging both in day and night. Additionally, the SC233A supports HDR video capture at 60 fps.
