SmartSens Announces Three CMOS Image Sensors with SmartGS®-2 Technology for Industrial Cameras
2021-9-16
SmartSens today announced the 2/3-inch, 3MP SC350HGS, 1-inch, 6MP SC650HGS and 1.1-inch, 9MP SC950HGS—three monochrome CMOS image sensors with SmartGS®-2 technology targeting at industrial machine vision applications.

Each SmartGS®-2 technology sensor uses a BSI pixel structure which provides improved sensitivity and image quality as well as a global shutter function, which enables the capturing of fast-moving objects without distortion. Compared to the previous generation technology, every product in this lineup offers a double shutter speed and extends the dynamic range by 8dB. Besides, the SC350HGS with a 4.2µm pixel size allows industrial customers to shoot at 75fps in 1:1 imager mode. Furthermore, all three sensors achieve 90% QE at 520nm. Additional features include reduced read noise and enhanced FWC.

The SC350HGS, SC650HGS and SC950HGS are available for sampling now, with mass production expected in Q4 of 2021.
